Junior Artworker

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Artworker with a recent college background in graphic design to join our creative team. This junior position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their design career looking to develop their skills and grow within the industry. A key part of this role will be learning and mastering wide format printing, clothing embroidery, vehicle graphics, signage and small format digital printing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics for various media, including print and digital platforms.

  • Assist in the development and execution of design concepts, from initial brief to final production.

  • Participate in client meetings and contribute creative ideas to projects.

  • Learn and operate wide format printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output for large-scale print jobs.

  • Gain hands-on experience with clothing embroidery, understanding the intricacies of design for fabric. Produce banners, signage and apply vehicle graphics.

  • Master small format digital printing techniques to produce high-quality prints for various products.

  • Prepare files for print, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

  • Maintain an organised library of design assets and project files.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, design software, and techniques to continuously improve your skills.

 

Requirements:

  • BTEC or above in Graphic Design.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

  • Basic knowledge of wide format printing, clothing embroidery, and small format digital printing is a plus, but training will be provided.
